Senior Procurement Specialist

The ideal candidate will have hands-on purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment, specifically sourcing raw materials or specialty ingredients. This role requires the ability to operate independently, manage vendor relationships, and support day-to-day procurement activities with minimal ramp-up.Key Responsibilities:Manage purchasing of raw materials and key ingredientsNegotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliersEvaluate vendor proposals and make purchasing recommendationsMonitor market trends, tariffs, and supply risksPartner cross-functionally to ensure continuity of supplyMaintain accurate purchasing data within SAP/ERP systemsSupport process improvements within procurementQualifications: 4–6 years of hands-on purchasing experienceExperience sourcing raw materials or specialty ingredients in a manufacturing environmentExperience within the fragrance, flavor, or specialty chemical industry with a focus on ingredients/raw materials strongly preferredStrong negotiation and supplier management skillsSAP experience requiredAbility to operate independently with minimal ramp-upThis is a remote position for candidates that reside in New York or New Jersey only!Interested in learning more?
