Warehouse Transloader - Evening ShiftThe Transloader is responsible for preparing product for movement, loading and unloading product into/out of trailers, checking product into an inventory system, stacking, counting product manually, and other dock-related duties by utilizing various material handling equipment including pallet jacks, RF equipment, and forklifts, among other equipment. The Transloader is responsible for the safe and efficient use of this equipment to perform the duties of the position.Shipping and Receiving: unload and load trailers and verify proper stacking and product being shipped. Tape or stretch-wrap pallet as required to ensure product stability.Checking Product: prior to product storage, count all product, compare to the drivers' manifest and check all shipments for damage, infestation, and production code dates. Report shortages, damages, and misplacements to your immediate supervisor who will forward the information to the appropriate parties. Verify receipt of product at appropriate temperature.Over, Short, and Damage: Report all shortages and overages to your area supervisor.Inventory: assistant in physical inventories with use of scanners.Loading: efficiently move product from the staging areas into railcars or trailers.Operate Equipment: load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, slip-sheet, or other powered equipment.Maintain working areas, equipment, and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
