Fii delivers intelligent manufacturing solutions for next-generation electronic products, powered by an Industrial Internet platform.Job Function:As a Buyer, you will be tasked with maintaining a purchasing database. You will be responsible for purchasing non-key component buys and assist on purchasing activities of key components. This is a full time contracted position, with the potential to convert to a permanent role based on business needs, headcount availability and individual performance.Shift: SwingJob Type: Full-Time / Contracted (Potential for Permanent Conversion)Responsibilities:Obtain and evaluate quotations for non-key components (C-parts)Manage purchase order (PO) placement and adjust material schedules based on MRP changes (expedite/de-expedite as needed)Monitor material shortages and proactively identify and qualify secondary sourcesValidate supplier lead times and ensure alignment with production requirementsProcess RTV (Return to Vendor) materials and coordinate with suppliersResolve invoicing discrepancies and material-related issues in a timely mannerNegotiate pricing for assigned commodities to ensure cost competitivenessManage Purchase Price Variance (PPV) and support cost control initiativesOversee Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and ensure material readinessManage excess and obsolete inventory to minimize financial impactDrive material cost reduction initiatives across assigned commoditiesSkills:Demonstrates strong foundational academic and functional skills required to perform assigned tasksProficient in computer applications and general systems navigationStrong verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and ExcelEffective collaboration and teamwork skillsQualifications:Education: B.A. or the equivalentExperience: Minimum of 2+ years of material experienceLanguage Skills: English proficiency required, Mandarin is a plusPay Range: $25 - $31/hrNon-Exempt StatusFoxconn Assembly, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
