Job DescriptionJob SummaryThe HR Manager will oversee all human resources functions for a small family-owned company. This role involves managing recruitment, employee relations, benefits, and compliance while fostering a positive workplace culture. The HR Manager will serve as a trusted partner to the leadership team and employees, balancing the needs of the business with employee well-being.Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting jobs, interviewing, and onboarding new hires. Ensure smooth integration into the company. Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, conflict resolution, and performance management. Foster a positive and supportive work environment. Payroll & Benefits Administration: Oversee payroll processing and administer employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. Policy Development: Develop and implement HR policies that align with the company's values and business goals. Update employee handbooks as needed. Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including OSHA, FMLA, and EEO. Maintain up-to-date employee records and handle audits. Training & Development: Identify training needs and coordinate development opportunities for employees to enhance skills and growth. Culture & Engagement: Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives and company events that promote teamwork and a family-oriented culture.Job RequirementsQualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Experience: 3+ years of experience in human resources, preferably in a small business or family-owned environment. Skills: Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. Certifications: PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
