Job Description 3 month assignment - work hours 5am to 5pmKey ResponsibilitiesRaw Material Unloading: Safely and efficiently unload raw materials from railcars and tanker trucks, ensuring proper handling and storage procedures are followed.Safety Compliance: Adhere to all site and unit safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and participation in safety training programs.Equipment Operation: Operate unloading equipment and tools such as hoses, pumps, valves, and other related machinery. Perform routine checks to ensure equipment is functioning properly.Documentation: Accurately complete required paperwork and logs related to material unloading, including tracking quantities and ensuring proper labeling.Communication: Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other plant personnel to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that may arise during unloading activities.Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with site housekeeping standards.Emergency Response: Actively participate in emergency response drills and procedures as required by the plant.Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support plant operations and ensure smooth workflow, as needed.Work ScheduleShift Structure: 12-hour shifts, following a 2-2-3 schedule (e.g., two days on, two days off, three days on).Day Shift Only: This position requires work during daytime hours only.QualificationsExperience: Previous experience in a chemical plant or industrial environment is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.Safety Awareness: Strong commitment to workplace safety and the ability to follow strict safety protocols.Communication Skills: Ability to read and understand written instructions, safety guidelines, and operational procedures.
