Are you ready to shape the future with us?Job DescriptionPosition SummaryThe Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for the accurate handling of incoming and outgoing materials. This role ensures that shipments are processed efficiently, documentation is accurate, and materials are properly staged and tracked. This position relies on manual handling, pallet jacks, and coordination with forklift operators.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesVerify and receive incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and bills of ladingInspect materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report issues promptlyAccurately label, scan, and enter inventory data into SAPPrepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentationCoordinate with production, purchasing, and carriers to ensure timely delivery and shipment of materialsMaintain organized staging areas for incoming and outgoing goodsUse manual pallet jacks and carts to move materialsPrepare shipping paperwork including bills of lading, packing slips, and carrier formsWork in conjunction with SCM team for inventory counts and cycle counting activitiesFollow all Company safety standards and comply with PPE requirementsMaintain cleanliness and organization of the shipping/receiving areaCommunicate effectively with drivers, colleagues, and supervisorsPerform additional tasks as assigned by the managerShift: 10:00am – 6:00pm, Monday-Friday, with some overtime requiredQualificationsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent1–3 years of shipping/receiving, warehouse, or logistics experienceBasic computer skills (data entry, inventory systems, Microsoft Office)Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and part numbersStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExperience working with carriers and freight schedulingPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs regularlyFrequent standing, walking, bending, and reachingAbility to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, and rubber materialsPreferred QualificationsExperience in a manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with SAP or other warehouse management systemKey CompetenciesAccuracy and attention to detailCommunication and teamworkTime management and reliabilitySafety awarenessAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
