Safety Professional :Preferred Training:OSHA 30 Hour CourseOSHA 510Root Cause Analysis CourseSafety Credentials: or equivalent toCSHOCHSTOHSTCUSPIf no certifications can supplement for experiencePreferred RequirementsMust have knowledge in the electrical industry (powerline and/or electrician)Must have computer knowledge with word, excel and adobe2+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry2+ years’ experience in safety and/or trainingBilingual (preferred but nor required)Responsibilities:Observe and Audit work sites within their area of responsibility for compliance with safety rules, customer expectations and current best practices.Document work-site observations and audits and communicate deficiencies to safety and operational management.Ensure that corrective actions are implemented and verify effectivenessProvide safety and health support operational management, person-in-charge, and employeesComplete incident investigations including follow up and completion of corrective actions identified during the investigationCoordinate, monitor and provide technical support for safety meetingsLead incident investigationsAid in the development/drafting of site-specific safety plansProvide support in training employeesAttend client meetings and log information to report back to director/managerBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8–10-hour shift (normal workload)Monday to FridaySubject to weekendedSubject to call outs
