Job Description DescriptionDesign roadway system improvements and related transportation structures under the guidance of a Senior Engineer.Prepare plans, technical specifications, and cost estimates.Perform technical studies and prepare technical documents such as Project Reports.Develop appropriate preliminary concepts and layouts.Oversee and mentor entry-level staff.Qualifications & SkillsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.California Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.Minimum of 3 years' experience in roadway design projects.Expert in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design-related software.Experience using roadway design standards such as Caltrans Highway Design Manual and Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices.
