Work both independently and part of an engineering team. Exposure across all aspects of structural engineering design and construction process.Education / ExperienceRecent PE license or working towards license in near future2 to 5 years experience in structural engineering with emphasis on building structuresResponsibilitiesEngineering and coordinationPreparation of engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, analytical models, reports and correspondenceConstruction Administration including review of shop drawings, submittals, RFI's and field observationAttend internal and external meetings with clients and design team membersStructural engineering & analysisSkills & QualificationsKnowledge of building fundamentals and design codes and standards such as IBC, ASCE, AISC and ACIProficient with structural programs such as RAM, ETABS, ADAPT, SAFE and REVIT (SAP2000 also acceptable)Strong technical skills, excellent verbal and written communicationsExcellent planning and organizational skills for our fast-paced environmentHighly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challengesCollaborate well within a larger project teamSpecific experience with wind, seismic, building motion, tall buildings and performance-based design is desirable.CompensationAnticipated Salary Range: base salary of $85,000 to $100,000 per year.We are proud to offer a generous benefits package that includes bonuses, medical, dental, vision, disability, life, 401(k) retirement program with profit sharing company match, and paid time off (PTO).We reserve the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's race, sex, or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.To ApplyPlease send a cover letter and resume to employment@mcsal.comJ-18808-Ljbffr
