Certified Personal Trainer

Position Overview: NW Fitness Project is seeking a full-time Personal Trainer with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our team. We are a busy, high-visibility training studio with a steady flow of client inquiries. This is a great opportunity for a trainer who wants to grow professionally, maintain high standards, and further develop their skills in a positive, team-oriented environment. This is a full-time, W-2 employee position. Flexibility for evening and weekend hours is required. Ideal Candidate: Passionate about training clients of all fitness levels, from novice to elite, in 1:1 settings. Open to coaching small group classes up to 10 members. Skilled in modifying, progressing, and regressing exercises in real time. Communicates with positivity, motivation, and openness to feedback. Friendly, outgoing, and perceptive with strong integrity and confidence. Exceptional at customer service and building lasting client relationships. Deep passion for fitness (you might even call yourself a fitness nerd). Key Responsibilities: Maintain a professional, engaged presence during client sessions. Log client sessions consistently and manage contract renewals. Design and deliver personalized workout plans aligned with NWFP standards. Set and track client-specific, realistic fitness goals. Ensure safe and effective exercise execution through individualized cueing. Collaborate with colleagues on shared clients and studio space. Uphold hygiene and cleanliness standards in gym and bathroom areas. Promptly communicate studio needs to management. Maintain studio security and client safety at all times. Contribute to social media content as needed. Actively participate in team events, meetings, and education opportunities. Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience as a certified personal trainer or related professional role. Current nationally recognized personal training certification (NASM, CSCS, ACSM, etc.). Current CPR/First Aid/AED certification. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an exercise-related field. Additional certifications (StrongFirst, NSCA-CSCS, nutrition, pre/post-natal, or other specialty areas). Availability during late afternoons/early evenings on weekdays, and weekend mornings — is required. Pay Range: $35–$60 per hour, depending on experience.
