We are currently engaged with a leading alternative investment firm seeking to add a senior tax counsel to support its rapidly expanding private credit business. This individual will serve as a key strategic hire, providing guidance on the firm's global tax strategy. The role will encompass all tax-related aspects of private credit transactions, working closely with the deal team on fund structuring matters. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a collaborative environment with significant growth potential and the ability to lead across all tax functions. Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive tax advisory support related to private credit transactionsPartner closely with the investment team on all matters concerning tax structuringOffer legal guidance on partnership taxation and the tax considerations associated with cross‑border financing structuresInterpret and apply relevant tax laws and regulations affecting private credit, hedge funds, and high‑net‑worth individualsRequirements: JD from a top tier Law school7+ years of experience at a top-tier law firm or in-house environmentExperience with private credit transactions & investment fundsExperience with fund structures including credit, hedge, and private equity fundsExperience with international tax laws as they apply to investment funds and private credit.
