Right Price.Join one of the top Mining and Heavy Machinery company as a Mechanical Engineer to support rapid prototyping. Position: Prototype Mechanical EngineerLocation: Mossville/Chillicothe (Peoria), IllinoisDuration: 12 Months of contract with possible extensionRole:Support partner engineering teams with rapid design, analysis, and prototype manufacturing of electrified machines and systems.Operate and maintain prototyping machinery including 3D printers, CNC cutting/milling/welding, and electrical cable/harness fabrication. Tasks:Aligned with 1 to 3 concurrent prototype project teams assisting with design, build, or test phases.Troubleshooting equipment, tracking prototype inventory, and providing logistics support.Enable prototype delivery for high-velocity and high-priority projects while working safely and efficiently.Engage with partner team engineers to develop best practices for prototype designs and manufacturing. Top 3 Skills:CAD designMechanic and Fabrication skillsCNC machinery operations and diagnostics Additional Technical Skills Microsoft Suite skills Creo design, Creo Simulate, DFMA/design for prototyping. Desired:CAD CAMAdditive manufacturing experienceWeldingMachine and system diagnostics   Education and Experience:Associate's degree with 09+ years of experienceBachelor's or Master's degree with 05+ years of experience Why Work With Us?We believe in more than just jobs—we build careers.
