CMA - Certified Medical Assistant

Primary Care Partners an affiliate of Atlantic Health System, seeks a Part-time or Full-time, CMA - Certified Medical Assistant for our Pediatrics & Internal Medicine Care Center in Hackettstown, NJ. This position is responsible for aiding physicians with patient care, environmental and organizational tasks. Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the care center services and also conveys a positive and professional image of the Care Center. Job Responsibilities: Fulfills patient care responsibilities. EKG, Phlebotomy, Injections and EMR a must. Bringing patients to exam rooms and review history, taking vitals, verifying medications. Returning calls to patients with results. Fulfills organizational and environmental responsibilities. Adheres to infection control/safety guidelines and confidentiality policies. Perform other duties/tasks as requested by providers, coordinators, and management in accordance with office procedures/policies. Qualifications/Requirements: Minimum one-year CMA experience in a physician practice preferred. Must be a graduate from an accredited certified assistant program with current National Certification (NHA, NCCT, ARMA, AAMA, AMT, AMCA, NAHP). Prior Experience with Epic (EMR System) preferred. Compensation is based on experience.
