SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Ignition Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced SCADA solutions within a manufacturing environment. This role requires a strong technical leader who can translate complex operational requirements into scalable, high-performance Ignition architectures. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions, from site assessment to production rollout, while ensuring reliability, efficiency, and data-driven insights.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect and design robust Ignition SCADA systems, including Tag Providers, gateways, and enterprise/edge deploymentsConduct site surveys to evaluate machine connectivity and data integration readinessDefine and implement IT/OT integration strategies across multiple PLC platformsDevelop and maintain Python scripts within the Ignition environmentDesign and implement database interfaces, historians, and reporting solutionsBuild intuitive dashboards to visualize plant KPIs, OEE, and operational performanceLead project execution, collaborating with distributed engineering teams and stakeholdersProvide technical guidance, documentation, and continuous system improvementsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum 1+ year experience in a similar role (10+ years strongly preferred)Strong hands-on experience with Ignition SCADA architecture and system designActive Ignition Gold Certification is highly preferredProven experience with PLC integration and multiple industrial communication protocolsSolid understanding of IT/OT convergence and industrial data flowsProficiency in Python scripting within IgnitionExperience working in manufacturing or industrial environmentsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsEU citizenship and a valid passport are requiredWhy Work With UsOpportunity to work on cutting-edge smart manufacturing and digital transformation projectsRelocation support provided to ensure a smooth transitionExposure to international projects and advanced industrial technologiesStrong career growth path with leadership and architectural responsibilitiesCollaborative, innovation-driven work environment
