This position plays a pivotal role in building and maintaining exceptional engineering teams by managing the complete employee lifecycle for technical talent. The role encompasses full-cycle recruitment, from initial candidate sourcing through successful onboarding, while also handling transitions and departures with professionalism and insight. This individual serves as a strategic partner to leadership, ensuring that hiring practices align with organizational goals and that technical teams are staffed with top-tier professionals. The position requires a sophisticated understanding of software engineering roles and the ability to assess technical competency while fostering positive candidate experiences throughout the recruitment journey.Responsibilities:Recruit qualified candidates for Software Development Engineer positions through various sourcing channels and recruitment strategiesConduct comprehensive interviews to evaluate technical skills, cultural fit, and alignment with organizational valuesPerform thorough reference checks to verify candidate qualifications and past performanceExtend employment offers and negotiate terms with selected candidatesDesign and deliver orientation programs to ensure smooth onboarding and integration of new hiresConduct exit interviews with departing technical staff to gather insights and identify improvement opportunitiesProcess all employee status changes accurately and in compliance with organizational policiesLead and direct the work of team members involved in recruitment and employee lifecycle managementCollaborate with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and team dynamicsDevelop and implement creative recruitment strategies to attract top engineering talentMaintain accurate records and documentation throughout the hiring and employment processSkills:Extensive knowledge of software development roles, technical competencies, and industry trendsStrong interviewing and candidate assessment capabilitiesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships with candidates and stakeholdersStrategic thinking and planning abilities to accomplish recruitment goalsLeadership skills to guide and direct team members effectivelySound judgment and decision-making capabilities in candidate selectionNegotiation skills for extending offers and managing candidate expectationsOrganizational skills to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneouslyQualifications:Bachelor's degree required7+ years of experience in technical recruitment, human resources, or related field
