Responsibilities include:\n\nResponsibilities\n\nEvaluate patients and recommend treatment plans.\nExplain the purpose and procedures of treatments, tests, and equipment to patients, providing necessary education upon discharge.\nConduct physician-prescribed treatments including operation of various ventilatory equipment and nebulizer devices for medication administration.\nPerform chest physiotherapy and suctioning via multiple methods.\nMonitor oximetry and capnography as per policy.\nReview patient's chest x-rays to determine need for further evaluation.\nAssist in procedures relating to respiratory care according to policy.\nPerform venipuncture and monitor ventilation efficiency.\nMaintain accurate respiratory therapy records and communicate effectively with attending physicians.\n\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n\nCurrent licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.\nCertifications in BLS and ACLS required.\nExperience operating various types of ventilatory and respiratory equipment.\n\n\nWhy ARMStaffing?\nAt ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
