Education: Graduate of an accredited imaging program, two (2) years college preferred. Experience/Qualifications: ARRT certification, Florida radiological technologist licensure, American Heart Association BLS for healthcare providers. Proficient computer skills. Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
Position Summary: The Radiologic Technologist utilizes ionizing radiation to perform diagnostic X-ray, fluoroscopy, tomographic, and portable procedures. Demonstrates excellent knowledge of the human anatomy & pathology and uses this knowledge to provide quality imaging for interpretation. Demonstrates ability to work in a team environment to support workflow and department. Performs other duties as assigned.

Communicating Effectively: Physical requirements, must be able to sit, stand, walk for long periods of time, be flexible enough to twist, bend, lift, assist, transport patients via wheelchair & stretcher. Be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs., perform CPR and patient assessment.
Threshold Requirements: These threshold requirements are required and completed yearly basis, Annual Joint Commission mandatory education requirements, in-service and health requirements including attendance at new employee orientation, TB/PPD Surveillance Program Maintenance of required professional licensing and/or certification(s).
