Electrical Assembly Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technician to join our growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing wire harnesses used in custom electrical switchgear and power distribution equipment. Your work will play a critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. Responsibilities * Assemble wire harnesses according to engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions * Cut, strip, crimp, label, and terminate wires and cables * Route and secure wiring within electrical assemblies and switchgear equipment * Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams * Verify wire lengths, termination points, and component locations * Perform continuity, resistance, and quality testing using electrical test equipment * Troubleshoot wiring issues and correct assembly discrepancies * Maintain accurate production and quality records * Follow all safety and quality procedures * Assist with other electrical assembly tasks as needed Qualifications Required * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship * Ability to read and follow technical drawings and work instructions * Ability to use hand tools and measuring tools effectively * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong organizational and problem-solving skills * Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check Preferred * Previous wire harness, electrical assembly, control panel, manufacturing, or industrial wiring experience * Experience reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams * Experience using crimping tools, wire strippers, multimeters, and other electrical assembly tools * Knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems * Experience troubleshooting electrical circuits *Candidates with mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply, even if they do not meet every preferred qualification.* Why Join BCS? * Stable full-time employment * Monday-Friday schedule * Competitive pay based on experience * Opportunity to develop valuable electrical and manufacturing skills * Work on custom-built equipment used in critical power distribution applications * Advancement opportunities within a growing company * Supportive team environment focused on quality and continuous improvement Compensation & Benefits *Pay: $20.50 - $25.00 per hour* Benefits include: * 401(k) with Company Match * Health Insurance * Dental Insurance * Vision Insurance * Life Insurance * Paid Time Off (PTO) Schedule Monday-Friday In-person position located in Pilot Point, TX.
