Job specificationCandidate requirementsJob specification Lead and manage the nursing staff within the Neuro ICU, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation. Oversee patient care activities within the unit, ensuring compassionate, patient-centered, and high-quality care delivery, particularly for patients with neurological conditions. Manage day-to-day operations of the Neuro ICU, including resource allocation, equipment maintenance, and inventory management. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize neurocritical care services. Serve as a key leader and responder during emergencies, providing direction and support to the team in high-pressure situations. Candidate requirements Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field preferred. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas. Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience in neurocritical care or critical care, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required. Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) or Neuroscience Nursing (CNRN) is preferred.
