The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of facilities planning, including program management, capital budgeting, project management, and maintenance. This role involves close supervision of the Director of Facilities Management, with a focus on the day-to-day operations of the college facilities, and leading the development of plans for future capital programs. The Executive Director will also be involved in campus-wide planning efforts, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of long-term outcomes. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years' of primary planning, construction, and facilities management experience, with at least 5 years' in a supervisory role. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in technical leadership for facilities physical plant, including knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and life safety systems. Experience in institutional or campus planning, capital programs, and space management is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing public and community processes, dealing with regulatory processes, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
