Software Engineer (Full-Stack / Backend-Leaning) – AI x Healthcare | NYC / Boston (Hybrid)We’re working with an ambitious, fast-growing HealthTech company redefining how humans and AI collaborate in clinical care. They’re building a next-generation platform that enhances patient outcomes while improving physician efficiency and they’re looking for a Software Engineer to help shape the future of this product from the ground up.This is a high-impact, zero-to-one role with significant ownership across product and engineering.The RoleYou’ll work across the stack to build and scale an AI-powered care delivery platform used by patients, clinicians, and enterprise healthcare partners. This includes developing new features, scaling backend infrastructure, and integrating with complex healthcare systems.You’ll collaborate closely with product, clinical, and commercial teams while helping define the engineering culture and architecture as the company scales.What You’ll DoBuild and ship net-new product features across web and mobile applicationsDevelop patient-facing experiences that drive engagement and retentionScale backend systems with a strong focus on reliability and data integrityImprove physician-facing tools and integrate AI capabilities into clinical workflowsBuild integrations with enterprise healthcare systems (EMR, claims, HIE data)Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partnersTech StackTypeScript, Python, React, Next.js, React Native, PostgreSQL, AWSWhat We’re Looking For5+ years of software engineering experienceProven experience building products from zero to one in fast-paced environmentsTrack record of shipping net-new features/products in productionStrong proficiency in TypeScript (backend-leaning preferred)Solid fundamentals across the stack (frontend + backend + data)Experience working in startups or building new teams/products
