Job DescriptionBuild Your Career with Ashley Furniture! \nMechanical Technician \nThe Machine Mechanical Technician will maintain and repair electromechanical drives, sensors and automated machinery while working with maintenance and engineers to install and evaluate electromechanical systems to support the manufacturing process. \nKey Responsibilities \n\nTroubleshoot, test and repair electronic production equipment. \n\n\nPerform electrical and mechanical repairs as required to maintain all processes in the factory. \n\n\nDevelop a thorough understanding of all electromechanical control systems in the factory. \n\n\nNotify appropriate management personnel and assist in the solution of the problems. \n\n\nContribute ideas for improvements in all areas using the appropriate means of communication. \n\n\nMaintain a neat and orderly workplace. \n\n\nDemonstrate the Company's Core and Growth Values in performance of all job functions. \n\nQualifications \nEducation: \n\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent work experience \n\n\nAssociates Degree in applicable field preferred but not required \n\nExperience: \n\n3 to 5 years in a high production environment preferred \n\n\nTroubleshooting and repairing CNC/PLC controlled manufacturing equipment, along with motor controls and mechanical assemblies. \n\n\nExperience working with three phase power as well as a variety of different control voltages is a plus. \n\n\nAbility to use all shop tools. \n\n\nAbility to use all testing and measuring equipment and tools required to maintain or repair electromechanical control systems. \n\n\nMust understand Lock out tag out procedures ( LOTO) \n\nWho We Are \nAt Ashley, we're more than a business...we're family.
