Location: Franklin, MAService Area: CT, RI, MA (select regional travel as required)Starting Pay: $21.00+ (higher pay considered for experienced technicians)Job Type: Full-TimeSchedule: Monday–Friday | Rotating weekend availability requiredWork Location: Field-based / On the roadWe are seeking a Field Installation & Service Technician to install and service stairlifts throughout parts of Massachusetts and surrounding New England states.Candidates from automotive, HVAC, home improvement, security/alarm, or general field service industries often excel in this role. Our technicians play a critical role in helping customers maintain independence and safety in their homes, making this work both rewarding and meaningful.If you take pride in quality work, enjoy problem-solving, and want a long-term career with a company that truly values its employees, Stannah could be the right fit for you.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesInstall and service Stannah stairlifts in residential homes in accordance with company policies and safety standardsDiagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issuesEducate customers on proper stairlift operation during installation or service visitsAccurately document installations, repairs, and service issuesMaintain proper inventory of spare parts and ensure service vehicles are stockedRepresent the company professionally with patience, courtesy, and confidentialitySafely operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment following safety guidelinesMaintain tools, vehicles, and equipment in clean, safe working conditionsMaintain a professional appearance while working in the fieldQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredPrior field service, mechanical, or technical experience preferredAutomotive, HVAC, home improvement, or security/alarm experience a plusStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and manage daily assignmentsValid driver’s license requiredReliable transportation to and from Franklin, MA(Company vehicle provided for daily field work)Reasonable accommodation may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.Physical RequirementsAbility to regularly lift and/or move up to 75 poundsFrequent standing, walking, and climbing stairsOccasional sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawlingComfortable working in varying indoor/outdoor conditionsModerate noise environmentCompany OverviewStannah is a British-based, family-owned company with over 150 years of history and is one of the world’s leading stairlift manufacturers.
