Nurse Practitioner | Emergency Medicine Location: South Dakota Employer: Barton Associates Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 2-day assignment in South Dakota, starting Apr 27, 2026. This role involves 24-hour shifts as the sole provider, where you will round on patients in the Emergency Department, stabilize them for transfer, and manage a range of critical access ED cases, from minor injury repair to intubation. Responsibilities and Duties Operate as the sole provider in the Emergency Department. Round on patients within the ED. Stabilize patients for transfer to other facilities. Manage Critical Access ED cases. Be comfortable handling cases ranging from minor injury repair up to intubation. Work 24-hour shifts. Additional Information Board Certification required in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care.
