Job Description Opportunity OverviewOur organization is on the lookout for a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Adult Headache Neurologist to become part of our extensive neurology team, which is the largest in the San Francisco Bay area.Location: 1100 Van Ness Ave, San Francisco, California 94109Practice Details:The selected candidate will collaborate with our dedicated team of headache specialists, which includes three physicians, one nurse practitioner, and two nurses, to further develop a comprehensive headache program. Our clinic receives a wide array of referrals from within our organization, the broader San Francisco medical community, the Bay Area, and the Sutter Northern California network.This specialized headache program emphasizes delivering thorough longitudinal care in both outpatient and telemedicine formats.Physicians will have the opportunity to perform various procedures, such as Botox injections, occipital nerve blocks, and SPG blocks.About Our Neurology Team:The headache program is part of a larger neurology group that encompasses specialists in movement disorders, epilepsy, dementia, neuromuscular conditions, stroke, neuro-interventional radiology, neurosurgery, neuropsychology, and neuroradiology.We host regularly scheduled grand rounds and case conferences focused on neuroscience, including topics like neuroradiology and neuro-oncology.The practice is situated in a modern medical office building directly across from CPMC Medical Center, right in the heart of San Francisco.Potential Areas of Focus for the Candidate:Outpatient headache clinic services in nearby Bay Area communities.General outpatient neurology.Inpatient consultations and on-call responsibilities.Engagement in clinical research through our partnership with the CPMC Neuroscience Research Institute.Opportunities to teach medical students and residents.Qualifications:Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologist.Completion of a fellowship and/or board certification in Headache Neurology.Join Us and Enjoy:A signing bonus.A comprehensive benefits package along with a CME allowance.A robust retirement plan.Relocation assistance.Opportunities for professional growth in teaching, research, mentorship, leadership, and community service.About Our Organization:We are a multi-specialty medical group consisting of over 250 physicians serving the greater San Francisco area.
