OverviewAWS Front-End Engineer — Washington, DC — Pay From: $75.00 per yearResponsibilitiesDeveloping, supporting, and maintaining API-based web applications using Angular or React in TypeScript.Developing and testing REST or GraphQL APIs; supporting an API in production used by a user-facing web application; understanding API testing, best practices, and the AWS API ecosystem (API Gateway, Lambda, etc.).Proficiency in DevOps including CI/CD, automated testing with Selenium, and other SRE & DevOps best practices.Proficiency in creating highly interactive, data-driven applications for users to view, correct, manipulate, and process tabular data from multiple sources; including complex, interactive elements using packages such as Highcharts, ag-grid, or Plotly.Developing, supporting, and maintaining Angular applications.Proficiency in modern authentication and authorization standards such as OpenID Connect and OAuth 2.0; integrating web applications with Okta, JWT, AWS services such as IAM and Verified Permissions.Proficiency in automated testing frameworks including Jasmine and Selenium.Preferred: Mapping and geospatial data (e.g., geocoding); ESRI Online, creating interactive maps, etc.QualificationsMUST: Experienced AWS Front-End Engineer with 10+ years of professional experience.Proficiency in developing, supporting, and maintaining API-based web applications using Angular or React in TypeScript.Proficiency in developing and testing REST or GraphQL APIs; experience supporting an API in production used by a user-facing web application; understanding API testing, best practices, and the AWS API ecosystem (API Gateway, Lambda, etc.).Proficiency in DevOps including CI/CD, automated testing with Selenium, and other SRE & DevOps best practices.Proficiency in creating highly interactive, data-driven applications for users to view, correct, manipulate, and process tabular data from multiple sources; complex interactive elements using Highcharts, ag-grid, or Plotly.Proficiency in developing, supporting, and maintaining Angular applications.Proficiency in modern authentication and authorization standards such as OpenID Connect and OAuth 2.0; integrating web applications with Okta, JWT, AWS services such as IAM and Verified Permissions.Proficiency in automated testing frameworks including Jasmine and Selenium.Desired: Experience with mapping and geospatial data (e.g., geocoding); ESRI Online, creating interactive maps, etc.Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, and six years of experience.Notes: Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
