Join our team as a Weekend Remote Acute Care Psychiatrist to deliver measurement-based, culturally sensitive care to patients in acute crisis across various settings and states. You will work remotely during weekend shifts in a fast-paced environment spanning emergency departments, hospital medical floors, and crisis stabilization units. What You'll Be DoingProvide Critical Weekend Care: Evaluate and treat patients in crisis across multiple emergency rooms, hospital medical floors, and psychiatric crisis programs during weekend shifts (Saturday 12:00 am to Sunday 11:59 pm EST). Collaborate and Support: Work closely with onsite professionals to determine timely dispositions and utilize evidence-based practices to provide care. Implement Treatment: Direct and implement psychotherapeutic treatments and prescribe medication to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders. Work as a Team: Utilize a collaborative care approach within your partner's healthcare treatment team. Utilize cutting edge technology: Operate in a fully remote environment using multiple EMR systems. Receive support: Receive support throughout your shift by our 24/7 access center who triages cases and ensures you have what you need to successfully treat each patient. What You'll BringBoard-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist. Unrestricted, independent licensure. Established and updated CAQH and FCVS profiles. Experience providing psychiatric care to all age groups. Expertise in treating patients in acute crisis and providing stabilizing treatment in 24/7 settings. Ability to communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds and provide culturally competent care. Experience working with multiple EMRs at the same time. Advanced technical proficiency, including using hardware (laptop, camera, monitors), Windows systems, Microsoft software, and EMR software. A passion for working in a supportive, collaborative, solutions-oriented, and inclusive environment. A strong interest in being a clinician in a thriving behavioral healthcare modality. Required to have a private office space in home or elsewhere for confidentiality. Support will be provided to obtain additional state licensure and DEA licenses.
