Data Privacy Program Manager

Role Details We are seeking candidates based in New York, with additional consideration for those located in Washington DC or Seattle. This is a 6-month engagement, with no current expectation of conversion to a full-time role. Team Context You will collaborate closely with a compact, agile group of engineering and technology professionals within the Techops team. Desired Qualifications Five years of relevant professional experience. Background in managing insider risk initiatives. Technical proficiency to effectively communicate with product developers and engineers. Competency using Google Suite applications. Selection Process The interview process consists of a single stage. Your Responsibilities Data Privacy Program and Data Mapping / ROPA Delivery Act as the primary project manager for data mapping and privacy program initiatives to ensure the successful delivery of discovery, design, assessment, and planning phases. Oversee project documentation, including detailed timelines, workstream tracking, budget monitoring, and the creation of weekly status updates. Facilitate collaboration by organizing stakeholder interviews, workshops, and documentation requests across legal, technical, and business departments. Assist in the setup and enablement of privacy technologies by working alongside external partners and internal tech leads. Transform project findings into actionable roadmaps that improve data discovery, monitoring, and program maturity. Drive project momentum by managing dependencies, resolving issues, and escalating critical decisions to maintain leadership visibility. Cybersecurity Integration Program Enhancement Manage the completion of cybersecurity tasks such as application registration, vulnerability program rollouts, and AI/ML assessment intake. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to foster the adoption of secure development lifecycles and infrastructure onboarding. Support the execution of incident response procedures, including tabletop exercises and cross-functional coordination, to improve organizational readiness. Maintain trackers for corrective actions to ensure that remediation tasks are completed by the appropriate owners on schedule. Deliver transparent status reports to leadership and governance groups to keep all stakeholders informed. Encourage the integration of privacy and security standards across the business through a practical, risk-focused approach.
