HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATORLocation: Miami, USASchool: Affinitas Education NetworkReports to: School Director / Regional HR DirectorDepartment: Human Resources_Job Purpose:Ensures the effective delivery of all human resources processes within the school, acting as a strategic and operational partner to the Head of School and the Senior Leadership Team. This role guarantees compliance with local labor laws, consistency with Affinitas group policies, and the creation of a people-centered culture that promotes engagement, performance, and wellbeing across all staff.Main Responsibilities:• Manage all HR operational processes: recruitment, onboarding, payroll inputs, benefits administration, attendance, and employee records.• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, safeguarding requirements, and Affinitas HR policies.• Lead and coordinate recruitment for all school positions in partnership with regional HR.• Develop and deliver induction and onboarding programs for new employees.• Support and guide school leaders in performance management, employee relations, and disciplinary processes.• Promote a strong school culture through engagement, recognition, and communication initiatives.• Act as a local representative for regional HR projects, ensuring proper implementation at the school level.• Provide accurate HR data, reports, and insights to school and regional management teams.Deliverables:• Annual HR calendar and process compliance (recruitment, onboarding, performance cycles).• Monthly HR reports with key people metrics.• Timely and compliant submission of payroll and benefits inputs.• Staff induction completion rate and satisfaction feedback.• Implementation of engagement or culture actions derived from surveys.• Compliance with safeguarding and labor audit requirements.Job Requirements:Education:• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.• Postgraduate studies in HR Management, Labor Relations, or Organizational Development (preferred).Professional Experience:• 4+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally within educational or service organizations.• Proven experience managing HR operations and employee relations.• Previous exposure to multi-site or matrix organizations (preferred).General Knowledge:• HR processes and employment lifecycle.• Labor law and regulatory compliance.)Specialized Knowledge:• Payroll and benefits coordination.• Recruitment and performance management.• Culture and engagement initiatives.Languages:• Fluent in English.• Proficiency in Spanish highly recommended
