Role Description We are seeking a full-time Accountant to join our team on-site in Plantsville, CT. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and preparing financial reports. Responsibilities also include budget monitoring, maintaining compliance with applicable regulations, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting in audits and tax preparation. The role requires attention to detail to ensure financial accuracy and compliance. Qualifications Strong understanding of general accounting principles and practicesProficiency in financial software and tools such as QuickBooks, Excel, or similar platformsExperience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processingAbility to prepare and analyze financial statements and reportsStrong organizational, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skillsCompliance knowledge with tax regulations and financial auditsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldPrior experience in the automotive industry is a plus
