Position Summary
The NCR Digital First Client Services Team is responsible for planning, defining and delivering projects across a variety of different NCR Banking software solutions. Our projects are unique for every type of project depending on the customer and engagement type: solution designs, implementations, deployments, upgrades, training and consulting.
The Digital First Client Services Partner will directly manage a team of professional services associates engaged in the implementation of NCR’s CSP Solutions. This team is made up of integration and implementation consultants. The Partner will ensure that the installation and integration effort required to deploy our solutions within a bank’s infrastructure are clearly defined and utilize NCR’s standard implementation methodology.
The Partner will work closely with their peers in monitoring project performance against baselines, budgets, and other metrics to ensure corrective measures are implemented early, issues/risks are mitigated properly, and variances are escalated timely.
Since this role has direct management responsibility this person should be capable and excited to coach, mentor and support your team. A critical success factor will be effectively managing and coordinating a geographically dispersed team. Nearly all team members currently telecommute from virtual offices across the United States and Canada, with some consideration for off-shore support.
This role is great for someone that likes a fast-paced work environment and can easily shift priorities and multitask based on ever changing priorities and commitments.
Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility
Direct, manage, and coach a team of Integration Specialist and Solution/Business Consultants
Responsibility for revenue and margin goals
Setting business objectives and team and individual goals for the team
Participates in the Leadership Team of the Banking Professional Services Team, providing input into the guiding principles of the team as we pursue excellence and trusted advisor status with our projects and our customers.
Develop key customer relationships necessary to not only manage the current projects, but to position NCR favorably for future deals and to be looked upon as their trusted advisor.
Partner with Sales, Engineering, Software Support Services, and Solution Management to provide high quality delivery of corporate solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
Present broad and complex information or concepts to audiences of varying backgrounds so that they understand or are influenced to act.
Implements and executes short and long-range plans that are comprehensive, realistic and effective in meeting goals; integrates planning efforts across the organization.
Implements, directs and seeks ways to improve plans and processes.
Required Qualifications
BS in a technology related degree or equivalent in experience.
5-10 years of progressive experience in the deployment of enterprise solutions that integrate company solutions with other third party software components such as databases, web services, cloud technologies, operating systems, and the like.
2 – 5 years of management responsibilities both people and budgets
Proven success in software solution deployments involving directing or managing small teams through multiple or very large projects.
Experience in a variety of technologies including Operating Systems, Server virtualization, Web application deployments using technologies similar to WebSphere, Kubernetes/Docker Containers and other similar Cloud based deployment technologies, Databases (specifically Microsoft SQL and Oracle), and imaging technologies.
Appropriate communication skills that show evidence of the ability to establish excellent customer relationships at multiple levels within a customer’s organization.
Demonstrates the ability to think strategically, yet able to problem-solve and drive tactical execution.
Understands basic revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections and makes decisions accordingly.
Good at managing multiple tasks and deliverables simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
Operational experience at major banks or related financial related outsourcing institutions in Canada or United States.
Experience creating and leading group presentations, hosting web seminars and public speaking.
