Job Summary The Loader/Unloader plays a crucial role in the logistics and warehousing operations by efficiently loading and unloading materials and products. This position requires a keen attention to detail, strong mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various types of heavy equipment safely. The ideal candidate will contribute to maintaining an organized and safe work environment while ensuring timely processing of goods. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as clamp trucks, pallet jacks, cranes, and cherry pickers to load and unload materials. Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and ensure accurate reporting of goods received and shipped. Build pallets for storage or shipment, ensuring proper stacking techniques are followed for safety. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and report any mechanical issues. Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols while performing all tasks. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and maintain an efficient loading/unloading process. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the loading area to promote a safe working environment. Requirements Proven experience in heavy equipment operation is preferred. Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting equipment issues. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards is highly desirable. Experience using RF scanners for inventory management is a plus. Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks consistently throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. A team-oriented mindset with good communication skills. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is beneficial but not required.
