Collaboration with faculty, staff, students, and external partners is essential, as is a commitment to shared governance and the highest standards of integrity. Applicants for the Dean position must hold a terminal degree in a relevant academic field and have a minimum of 5 years' of administrative and leadership experience in a higher education setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graduate education, including experience in teaching, mentoring, and research. Preferred qualifications include a record of accomplishment in teaching, service, and research, as well as a commitment to innovation, diversity, and inclusion. The Dean should be adept at fostering partnerships, engaging in fundraising, and have a solid understanding of higher education finance and resource management.
