Quality Manager
As the Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our products meet stringent quality standards, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of excellence within our organization. As an AS9100/ISO9001 certified shop, we uphold the highest standards in the industry.
Responsibilities:
Utilize, manage, improve, and evolve the Quality Management System (QMS) to minimize the risk of defects in our parts.
Lead and manage the team members in the Quality Department to ensure seamless operations and adherence to quality standards.
Collaborate with the Executive Team to uphold AS9100/ISO9001 certification and compliance throughout the year.
Engage with customers on various fronts, including audits, addressing quality requirements, and managing instances of defective parts through Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCAs).
Exercise judgment in quality-related matters where clear pass/fail criteria are not readily achievable.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Profound knowledge of quality control methodologies commonly utilized in the metal manufacturing industry.
Comprehensive understanding of metal manufacturing processes such as punching, forming, welding, machining, and assembly.
Proficiency in Quality Management Systems and Quality Databases, with experience in tools like Unipoint considered a strong asset.
