Quality Engineer

Job Title: Quality EngineerLocation: Spring Hill, TennesseeJob Type: W2 ContractExpected hours per week: 40 hoursSchedule: OnsitePay Range: $38-45 an hourJob DescriptionThis role serves as the primary liaison between the customer plant and the manufacturing supplier, ensuring quality issues are identified, contained, and resolved in real time. The engineer will support on-site operations, manage non-conformance activities, and drive communication and reporting to maintain product quality and customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the on-site point of contact between the customer plant and manufacturing facilityPerform initial analysis and verification of non-conforming or suspect productSupport 24-hour containment activities and coordinate additional containment as neededExpedite return of non-conforming materials and track quality incidents in reporting systemsMonitor and report PPM metrics, quality trends, and weekly activity updatesMaintain and calibrate product test equipment as requiredCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support problem resolution and response effortsBuild and maintain strong customer relationships to support ongoing quality improvement and business growthBenefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO & 401K#INDOEM
