Job DescriptionSecond shift 4P-2:30AMonday -ThursdaySome Fridays - pl daysResponsibilities:General maintenance duties such as replacing valves and pumps, motors, gear reducersExperience with equipment packaging equipment (labelers, rotary and in-line cappers, jet printers, cartoner's, bundlers, sleevers, heat tunnels and case sealers)Disassembly and assembly of electric motors, pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic systemsRepair machinery and conveyer beltsBasic electrical knowledgeMaintains technical and professional knowledgePerform miscellaneous duties as required for plant maintenanceBasic machinist experience using lathe and mill is a plusQualifications:Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in cosmetics, food or pharmaceutical industryMust focus on maintenance manager expectations, prevent problems and strive towards continuous improvementExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAble to work with minimal supervisionMust have own toolsMust be able to work any shift and overtimeMust be able to lift up to 60 lbsCompany DescriptionPL Developments is an over-the-counter pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging company, headquartered in New York.
