Research EngineerSummary Of PositionThe Research Engineer I supports research and development initiatives by conducting hands-on experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and assisting in process improvements. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with a strong technical foundation who are eager to develop expertise in advanced manufacturing and product testing environments.ResponsibilitiesConduct experiments as directed and execute testing with limited oversight.Collect, process, and validate data to ensure accuracy and integrity.Utilize Excel for data analysis, reporting, and documentation.Operate and maintain laboratory and production equipment.Support continuous process improvement initiatives within R&D.Assist with projects, taking ownership of defined tasks and potentially leading one to two smaller-scale projects.Collaborate with team members to execute research and development objectives.Learn from senior engineers while providing guidance to interns as needed.Implement established R&D procedures and document findings through reports and technical notes.Qualifications:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to follow established protocols and work effectively within a team environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with additional technical software is a plus.Passion for innovative technology and continuous improvement.Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based research environment.Adaptability, curiosity, and willingness to thrive in a dynamic R&D setting.Education and Experience:RequiredBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related technical field.Hands-on experience in an R&D or manufacturing setting (internship or academic laboratory experience acceptable).Preferred:Familiarity with advanced manufacturing processes or materials science.Basic troubleshooting skills for laboratory or production equipment.
