EHS Coordinator

EHS Coordinator LaSalle, IL | $23–$25/hour | Schedule varies by shift Join the team of a growing company in LaSalle, IL as an EHS Coordinator! This is a hands-on opportunity to support and coordinate safety initiatives throughout the facility while working closely with HR, Production, and employees across all shifts. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing administrative responsibilities with time on the plant floor. WHAT YOU GET TO DO Support day-to-day EHS activities, including documentation, records, reports, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Assist with safety programs covering Hazard Communication, PPE, emergency preparedness, and fire prevention. Conduct facility walkthroughs, safety inspections, and emergency equipment checks. Assist with employee incident investigations and track corrective actions through completion. Provide new-hire safety training and assist with ongoing safety and environmental training. Work with managers and employees to address safety concerns and promote a strong safety culture. Help maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations. WHAT YOU BRING High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred. EHS experience may be considered in place of a degree. OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
