Water Treatment Project Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the execution of complex water and wastewater treatment plant projects based out of Los Angeles, CA. This role is responsible for overseeing all phases of construction, from planning and procurement through execution and closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesManage all aspects of construction projects for water and wastewater treatment facilitiesDevelop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocationsCoordinate with engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and regulatory agenciesMonitor project progress and implement corrective actions as neededEnsure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality requirementsLead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior leadershipReview and manage contracts, change orders, and cost control processesIdentify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycleQualificationsMinimum 5+ years of experience managing construction projects for water and/or wastewater treatment plantsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and cost controlExperience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teamsProven ability to deliver complex infrastructure projects on time and within budgetFamiliarity with local, state, and federal regulatory requirementsExcellent leadership, communication, and organizational skillsExperience with public works or municipal projectsKnowledge of treatment processes (e.g., membrane systems, biological treatment, filtration)
