Part-Time Events Assistant

The Ford Agency is currently recruiting for a temporary part-time Events Assistant to join a national association as they prepare for a busy event season. They are specifically looking for candidates with excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills. This is a 4 month temporary assignment, 25 hours/week, and is available immediately. This is onsite Tuesday-Thursday. Responsibilities Include:Coordinate and plan event logisticsCollaborate with events team to ensure a successful eventWork with catering, IT and AV, and other vendorsPrepare post-event data analysis and reportsMaintain timely communications with internal and external teamsAssist with special projects as needed Qualifications Include:1+ years of meeting planning experience in a professional environmentStrong internships will be consideredProficient in MS OfficeCustomer service oriented Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProfessional communications skills Compensation:$22/hr+ DOE Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
