He/She will play a critical role in ensuring our work is of the highest quality, and deliverables are met even during stringent, often inflexible conditions. The Electrical Design Engineer will lead and collaborate with multiple teams of engineers, and designers at any given time to assist with project deliverables. This will require hands-on involvement through every step of the project including construction. This is a remote work position to be located in the Tallahassee, Florida area.Electrical Design Engineer with experience in:Designing commercial projects over $5 million construction costPreparing construction documents, engineering reports, and conducting field investigationsDesigning building power and lighting systems for institutional, correctional, educational, medical, and/or public safetyPreparing deliverables including calculations, technical reports, drawings, and specificationsDetailed knowledge of general building construction and electrical systemsExcellent analytical and technical skills neededExcellent verbal communication and writing skills requiredRequired:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering3-5 years’ experience in designing and developing commercial construction projects from concept to completionRevit experiencePreferred:SKM or similar power systems software
