This role focuses on building trusted relationships with public‑sector stakeholders, understanding complex security environments, and delivering technology solutions that enhance safety, compliance, and operational efficiency within correctional settings.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage a sales pipeline for correctional facilities at the local, state, and federal levelsPromote and sell correctional security technologies such as surveillance systems, access control, inmate monitoring, communications, body‑worn cameras, software platforms, and integrated security solutionsBuild strong, long‑term relationships with wardens, sheriffs, correctional administrators, IT leaders, procurement officials, and government decision‑makersConduct on‑site and virtual product demonstrations tailored to correctional environments and security needsUnderstand client operational challenges, compliance requirements, and funding constraints to position appropriate solutionsRespond to RFPs, RFIs, and bids in coordination with internal engineering, legal, and proposal teamsPrepare and deliver presentations, proposals, pricing, and contracts in alignment with government procurement standardsCoordinate with implementation, support, and project management teams to ensure successful solution deployment and customer satisfactionMonitor industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies within corrections and public safety marketsMeet or exceed assigned sales targets while maintaining ethical and compliant sales practicesQualificationsProven experience in B2B or public‑sector sales, preferably within corrections, public safety, security, or government technologyStrong understanding of correctional operations, security protocols, or regulated environmentsExcellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship‑building skillsAbility to navigate complex, long sales cycles and government procurement processesComfortable conducting customer meetings in secure and regulated facilitiesProficient with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and sales reportingValid driver’s license and willingness to travel as requiredPreferred QualificationsExperience selling security systems, IT solutions, SaaS platforms, or integrated technology solutionsFamiliarity with correctional standards, compliance requirements, and public‑sector funding processesBackground working with state and local government agenciesBachelor’s degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Information Technology, or related fieldKey CompetenciesConsultative, solution‑based sellingStrategic account managementPublic‑sector relationship developmentTechnical aptitude and fast learning capabilityProfessional discretion and integritySelf‑motivation and time managementWork EnvironmentThis role requires a mix of remote work, travel, and on‑site visits to correctional and justice facilities.
