Employee Relations Assistant - Asheville
Summary Statement: The individual in this role is responsible for supporting the Employee Relations Manager by performing a variety of personnel-related administrative tasks and assisting in the enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
Essential Job Functions
Assists with the recruitment, interview, onboarding and orientation processes.
Performs customer service functions for the HR Department by processing employee requests and providing relevant information.
Helps drive HR strategies and provides guidance on HR policies and procedures to ensure individual and team performance is consistent with business mission, priorities and values.
Coordinates HR projects, including various employee and facility events, annual open enrollment and required reporting.
Organizes and maintains personnel files and databases.
Marginal Job Functions
Assists other facility personnel as time and knowledge permit.
Participates in training and meetings as requested.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Work Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR role required
Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
Knowledge of HR law and regulatory requirements preferred
Experience with HRIS software and applicant tracking systems preferred
Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
