Manufacturing Engineer

The RoleResponsible Engineer for automated and manual assembly equipment in the daily production of high quality drivetrain components by providing technical information, documentation, support, and guidance, and by participating as a cross-functional team member to help resolve issues relating to assembly.What You´ll Do:Identify improvement projects.Strive for operational excellence through line balance, and station efficienciesLead capital project planning and execution in assembly.Create and update required process documentation.Evaluate and update documents according to Process Change Requests (PCR's).Create specifications, recommendations and designs for tools, fixtures, gages, equipment, and processes.Test tools, fixtures, gages, equipment, and processes.Specify gaging techniques.Keep abreast of latest developments in automated assembly and manufacturing field.Lead creation and updates to process flow and PFMEASupport other teams as required.Perform other duties as assigned.What We OfferA chance to be part of a market-leading company shaping the future of automotive technology.Opportunities to grow your career through training, development, and global exposureA collaborative culture that values innovation, accountability, and continuous improvementThe ability to make a real impact by attracting and developing the talent that drives our business.Your ProfileFour-year Mechanical Engineering Degree (BSME)Expertise in bolted joint design and strategies.Experience with Torque, Pressing Processes, and Gaging equipment.Candidates must demonstrate solid skills in communication, interpersonal relations, and ability to inspire individuals to improve performanceProven mechanical aptitude for analytical problem solvingDesirable:Knowledge of pressure decay leak testingSix Sigma Black belt certificationProject Management Professional (PMP)
