Physical Therapist

Job Description We are looking for a committed Physical Therapist to join our growing practice who will improve the patient's quality of life and movement through prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Performs patient assessment, treatment, discharge planning and collaboration with other health care providersIdentify and meet patients' goals and needsReduce the need for medications and provide alternatives to surgeryDelegates aspects of patient care to support staff per PT/PTA MI Licensure Administrative Rules providing necessary communication and supervisionDocuments patient care and billing information timely and in accordance with department standards.Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients' specific needsMotivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimallyEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Physical Therapist bachelor degree OR Master's/Doctorate degree acquired from a Graduate from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy program.Current state of Michigan license certificationCurrent knowledge of treatment practices
