This is an excellent opportunity to learn from experienced Journeyman Linemen while contributing to the safe and reliable delivery of electricity across our service area.As an Apprentice Lineman, you’ll participate in a structured four-year apprenticeship program, gaining hands-on experience in line construction, maintenance, and customer service. You’ll work outdoors, in all weather conditions, and play a vital role in keeping the lights on for our communities.🔧 Key ResponsibilitiesConstruct, maintain, and retire overhead and underground transmission and distribution systemsAssist with transformer and meter installations, pole replacements, and equipment maintenanceRespond to outages and customer service needs under supervisionAdhere to all Northeast Power Safety Manual standards and safety protocolsCommunicate effectively with Foremen, Dispatchers, and team members🎓 QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDEnrollment in or completion of a recognized lineman apprenticeship program (Merchant Program or equivalent)Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required (or ability to obtain)CPR and first aid certification (or ability to obtain)Ability to lift 50–100 lbs, climb poles, and work in extreme weather conditions💪 Skills & AttributesKnowledge of electrical theory and power distribution systemsStrong decision-making and problem-solving skillsTeam-oriented with excellent communication abilitiesCommitment to safety, reliability, and quality workmanship🌟 Why Join Northeast Power?At Northeast Power, you’ll be part of a dedicated team that values safety, teamwork, and professional growth.
