NWH supplies only sustainable, high-quality hardwoods to protect our resources today and for future generations.Position Summary:NWH's Supply Chain organization is looking to fill the role of Export Logistics Specialist. This role falls within the International Transportation group and is responsible for the movement of product to Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East.If you are a reliable team player who demonstrates exceptional accuracy to detail and a can-do attitude, we want you on our team!Key Responsibilities and Duties:Complete export arrangements for customers to include container arrangements, vessel bookings and drayage (trucking)Work with third-party logistics providers on equipment availability and routing, including various modes of transportation (ships, trains, trucks)Determines best methods for shipping to ensure customer satisfactionCoordinate with material availability, shipping schedule and internal departments to ensure orders ship on time and comply with all export requirementsMaintain routing guides and pricing within appropriate systemsAlways provide customers with timely, courteous serviceTrack vessel bookings and drayage loads within TMS (Transportation Management System)Research and resolve operational issues in a timely mannerSupport commercial organization with relevant information such as ocean and drayage ratesBuild positive relationships and communicate effectively with vendors and key internal stakeholdersManage and maintain daily and weekly reports for the export processPerforms additional duties as assignedBasic Qualifications:* HS Diploma and 1-2 years in transportation and logistics required.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or Supply Chain with one-year relevant experience preferred.Proficient knowledge ERP and TMS - highly desiredInternational logistics experience - desiredExperience with BluJay TMS software- desiredPerks & Benefits:Medical Plans/Dental Coverage/Vision Coverage/ Prescription PlansEmployee Recognition and Rewards ProgramLife InsuranceShort-Term Disability BenefitVoluntary Long-Term Disability Benefit401k Retirement Saving with Company MatchHealth Saving Account (HSA)Employee Assistance ProgramEmployee Engagement Center SupportPaid Time Off and Paid HolidaysEmployee Engagement Events and ActivitiesAdditional Information:NWH is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
