Our detailed work focuses on understanding the characteristics of companies that produce very long-term returns and the people who build them.Job Overview: This role involves working closely with the founder of Worldly Partners to transform complex datasets into actionable insights with the goal of driving very long-term performance and risk management.Key Responsibilities:Analyze large, complex financial datasets (market data, alternative data, fundamentals) to identify trends, anomalies, and investment opportunitiesCollaborate with investment teams to define data needs and translate them into analytical solutionsPerform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover predictive signals and inefficiencies in marketsBuild and maintain data pipelines for sourcing, cleaning, and validating structured and unstructured dataMonitor data quality and integrity across multiple sourcesDevelop dashboards, reports, and visualizations of data for portfolio monitoringAutomate recurring data processes to improve efficiency and scalabilityStay current with new data sources, tools, and technologies relevant to financial marketsIn person data collection Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field2 – 10+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in finance, asset management, or trading environmentsExperience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)Strong programming skills in Python or SQL, with Java experience preferredFamiliarity with machine learning techniques and model validation practicesSolid understanding of financial markets, instruments, and investment conceptsExperience working with time-series data and large datasetsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailWillingness and ability to travel up to 40%Working Hours:40 hours per week on site in Needham, MAOccasional evening or weekend hours may be required depending on business needsTravel required Compensation:$185,000-$225,000Medical, dental, and vision insurance 100% employer-paid
