The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes according to recipes and standards, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and supporting overall kitchen operations during service.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standardsSet up and stock stations with necessary suppliesEnsure food quality, freshness, and consistency during serviceFollow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all timesOperate kitchen equipment safely and efficientlyAssist with food prep, inventory rotation, and waste reductionCommunicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house teamsClean and maintain workstations, utensils, and equipmentSupport opening and closing duties as assignedQualifications & SkillsPrevious experience as a line cook or similar role preferredKnowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipmentUnderstanding of food safety and sanitation practicesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment under pressureStrong attention to detail and time management skillsTeam-oriented attitude with good communication skillsFlexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidaysPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periodsManual dexterity for handling kitchen tools and equipmentWork EnvironmentFast-paced, high-temperature kitchen environmentExposure to hot surfaces, sharp tools, and cleaning chemicals
