Position Overview: Specialty: Emergency MedicineLocation: Near Trout Creek, MIStart Date: ASAPContract Length: OngoingCoverage Dates: September 30, 2024 (orientation) to October 6, 2024Shift Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours OnlyShift Hours: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, 7 days a week Key Responsibilities: Patient Care:Provide emergency care for patients in a busy outpatient setting.Average patient load is around 30 patients per day.Perform admissions with an average of 3 admissions per shift.Support Staff:Work alongside ED Physicians and ED RNs.Practice Setting:Outpatient emergency care with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. Practice Details: EMR System: MediTechBoard Certification: Required (Emergency Medicine)Fellowship: Not requiredCredentialing: Estimated timeframe is 30 days, expedited if documents are submitted promptly.Privileges: Temporary privileges are available if needed.Travel & Lodging: Reimbursement for travel and lodging if necessary. Requirements: Licensure: Must be licensed in Michigan.Certifications:Board Certification in Emergency Medicine.BLS certification is required.Additional Information:ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS are not required.Ability to cover shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with potential for call rotation.
